A fiction writer with a passion for dabbling in darkness to find the light…
Ellie Prusko’s passion and dedication to fiction writing have been evident since her early childhood; she began writing and illustrating stories at the tender age of six, often monopolizing her parents’ family computer, crafting intricate worlds and tales. Even during the potty training phase, she would speak stories aloud, a testament to her innate drive to create narratives. Graduating from Emerson College in the Spring of 2024 with a Master’s in Creative Writing, Ellie draws her greatest inspirations from both the highs and lows of her life experiences. As a passionate mental health advocate and survivor, she credits fiction as a means of overcoming her own mental health challenges. Through her writing, she not only finds solace but also aims to empower others, using her words as a beacon of hope for those navigating their own struggles.
